Belief in the companions (Sahaba) of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallalahoalihiwasalam

point The "Sahaba" or "Companions" are those chosen servants of Almighty Allah who saw and believed in our Nabi MuhammadPBUH with Imaan, served him and stayed with him.
point Speaking about His Sahaba, our Nabi MuhammadPBUH has said that: "My Sahaba are like the stars, whichever one you follow, you will be guided." Therefore, it is Fard upon us to love and respect all the Sahaba.
point Some of the most famous Sahaba were Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique, Sayyiduna Umar Farouk, Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani and Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه
These four Sahaba are also called the "Khulafa-e-Rashideen" or "The Rightly Guided Khulafaa" who ruled the Muslim world after our Nabi MuhammadPBUH  passed away.
point There were also 10 special Sahaba that were told of their position in Jannah (Paradise) by our Nabi MuhammadPBUH . These Sahaba are called the "Asharatul Mubash sharah" or "The Ten Given Good News."
point We must also believe that all the Sahaba are Jannatis. This is so because they loved and respected our Nabi MuhammadPBUH  more than their own lives and sacrificed everything they had for him and for Almighty Allah's Deen.
point You must stay away from those people who speak bad about the Sahaba.
point Our Nabi MuhammadPBUH loved all his Sahaba and we should also love them.
point After our Nabi MuhammadPBUH  had left this world, many Sahaba went to various parts of the world to teach Islam to the people who had not yet received the Message of Islam.
point There was also a special group of Sahaba who used to spend all their time learning about Islam. These Sahaba are called "Ashaabus-Suffa" or "People of the Bench."

point Many Sahaba have also been given special titles. Some of them are:-

SAYYIDUSH SHUHADAH (Leader of the Shaheeds): Sayyiduna Hamza رضي الله عنه the uncle of our Nabi Muhammad رضي الله عنه
AS SIDDIQUE (The Truthful): Sayyiduna Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه .
AL FAROUQ (The Separator of Truth and Falsehood): Sayyiduna Umar رضي الله عنه .
GHANI (The Generous) and ZUN NOORAIN (The Possessor of Two Lights): Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani رضي الله عنه

ASADULLAH (The Lion of Allah): Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu).
SAIFULLAH (The Sword of Allah): Sayyiduna Khalid bin Walid رضي الله عنه.

point We must always make Dua for all the Sahaba.
point The pious wives of our Nabi MuhammadPBUH  are called "Ummahaatul Mo'mineen" or "The Mothers of the Muslims."
